What we do

We start with litter.
We're building toward green.

We're a small group of Upper East Side neighbors who believe our streets deserve more care than they get. We show up on Saturday mornings, pick up litter, and get to know the people who live around us. No experience needed — just a genuine fondness for this neighborhood and an hour or two to spare.

Over time, our plan is to adopt street tree pits, add plantings and bulbs, work with the city on beautification, and partner with local businesses and institutions who share our commitment to the neighborhood.

Our focus is the thirty blocks between Second Avenue and York Avenue, from 60th to 70th Street — a walkable, residential stretch of the Upper East Side that we're committed to making cleaner and greener, block by block.

9:00 AM — Meet at the corner of E 63rd Street & First Avenue
A 60–90 minute litter walk through our neighborhood blocks, followed by coffee nearby.

No sign-up required — just show up. Gloves and bags provided.
